serious hardware

I got my CHI TOWN duo medal in the mail today. It's huge. And heavy. And freaking awesome. It's for running the RnR 5k (June) and half marathon (August) here in Chicago. Or Chi Town.

Oddly enough, most residents of Chicago HATE the term Chi Town. Maybe because of Kanye West...or just because it's annoying. I don't mind "the Chi" and I don't like or hate "Chi City" but something about "chi town" makes me squirm.

Oh well, whatever. I've got another medal and it's huge. It strokes my running ego.
